How to download full movies from the internet for FREE!

If torrents aren't your thing then you've come to the right place. This simple tutorial is for Firefox users only because I never use Internet Explorer. Now if you do use Internet Explorer or some other browser you can simply replace the add on I use with an add on that is compatible with your particular browser.

Step #1
Go download and install video download helper for Firefox. It's the best download add on I've ever used. Hands down.

Step #2
Go to your favorite site for watching movies online for free. Or look here for a site.

Step #3
Simply use the video download helper to download that movie for free!

After you download your free movie you can just keep it on your computer or you have the option to burn that free movie to DVD with free software.

There are so many fantastic free games on the internet. Flash games have come a long way in recent years spawning thousands of flash game websites and thousands of games. But when it comes to free online games your not just limited to flash games. You can play all your favorite old Nintendo, Sega, DOS, Gameboy games and more all online and totally free.

With so many websites out there you don't want to have to visit umpteen different sites to find the game you're looking to play. So I'll list just a few sites packed with enough free online games to keep you gaming for years.

The first website I want to tell you about is Thesmartass. Thesmartass is a great site to start with if you're looking to play your favorite classic games. Now that we've covered your classic gaming needs lets talk about flash games. You really only need a few sources for free flash games. Now before I wrote this article I thought I knew of all the best free online game sites, but while I was snooping around the web I found this gem Gameyanker(don't worry I'd never heard of it either). Gameyanker hosts over 27,000 flash games. Yes you read that right, no typo here I said OVER 27,000 games. Gameyanker says they also add about 30 new games a day. Newgrounds.
Really just us much a community as a gaming site, Newgrounds is a great place to play the latest and greatest flash games available. Most game developers will submit their flash games to Newgrounds before any other site. Newgrounds also has active and helpful forum members, if you wanna learn anything flash, Newgrounds is the place to start. Go check em out here.

How to burn movies to DVD the free and easy way

If you've ever Googled this subject I'm sure you know there are many tutorials for this on the interwebs. Most of the tutorials I found were ads for complicated and expensive software.

Today I'm going to teach where to download high quality movies for free. And how to burn them to DVD for free. The software I use is totally free. You will need Sothink DVD maker for this tutorial so go download it here Sothink DVD Maker.

After you've downloaded and installed Sothink go on over to your favorite free online movies site and download the free online movie of your choice.

When your download is complete open Sothink and drag n drop your movie file,
or click add and navigate to your movie file.

When Sothink finishes loading your file (a few seconds) pop a blank DVD into your writer. Then click next on Sothink.

You may need to lower the video bitrate, do so in intervals of 500 until Sothink displays a green bar.

Next click options and select your video standard. If you live in the U.S. or Canada you will need to select NTSC.

Time to encode and burn, simply click next. The entire process will take a while (usually about 3 hours on my PC). All of these type of programs are slow and resource hogs even expensive software.

Wait until Sothink says complete, then pop out your freshly burned DVD and enjoy!

You might also try the free software DVD flick for encoding and burning your movies.

Best Free Firewall Programs 2009

When it comes to security why take any chances? It's important you do all the you can to protect your computer from all the various risks associated with surfing the world wide web. But why should you pay for an expensive firewall program when there great free firewall programs out there? Fact is you shouldn't. I took a look at all the free firewall programs currently available and researched each one individually. In order for a firewall program to qualify as free and make this list the program must be totally free, no trial periods, no cost of any kind.

I was not surprised to find a few of the free firewall programs available were basically worthless, leaving users vulnerable to all kinds of threats. Obviously those free junk programs won't be on this short list. I'm only go to list free firewall programs that I would feel comfortable using myself. So lets get started.

Very cool game.

Looking for a free iphone app? Well then you have come to the right place my iphone loving friend!

With so many iphone apps available it can be difficult to know which apps are good and which ones are total crap. I feel your pain and I'm here to help. I've done some poking around on the interwebs and have compiled a list of the most popular and seemingly useful free apps available.
As far as which is the best iphone app, well you can decide that for yourself. Lets check em out.

Google Mobile app.
Now I suppose you could live without Google. I'm told people in third world countries do it everyday.
I happen to know my grandma lives fine without it, but if you wanna be cooler than my grandma you're gonna need this free app.

Facebook app.
Addicted to Facebook? Can't live without checking your wall over and over again? Maybe not constantly knowing what your so called friends are doing sends you into a Facebook induced frenzy? Well then you freak. This is the perfect app for you. Now you can virtually stalk all your efriends everywhere you go.

Twitterrific app.
Perhaps usually inane banter from complete strangers is your addiction? Well check this app out all you Twitter heads. Now you can take Twitter with you everywhere, just imagine all the time you can waste now.

Ereader app.
I've heard a small minority of the population still actually reads meaningful literature. I'm quite skeptical about that. I'll posted this free app so you can download it and show all the skeptics that people still at least download apps for reading books. But lets not kid ourselves. You're not that you're likely to use it. Ahem, are you?

Evernote app.
If like me you're tired of putting sticky notes everywhere to remember birthdays,anniversaries, appointments, or plans for total world domination than this is the app for you my memory challenged friend. Never again forget what time the lady across the street takes a shower, go get this free iphone app!

Weatherbug app.
Sick of constantly looking out the window to see if it's raining? Maybe like me your trailer house has aluminum foil covering the windows to protect your loved ones (cats) from radium the government has been pumping into the air and you just have to know if toxic acid rain is pouring down from the heavens. Well never fear, the free weatherbug app is here.

eBay Mobile app.
How many times have you been in a meeting and realized you need a new fleshlight?
Maybe you just have to own some toast that slightly resembles Jesus right now!
Or like me, you just need to sell your vintage spork collection. Well my friends check out this free iphone app!

ShoZu is a nifty little app. Boasting support for over 4o social networking sites Shozu allows you to upload photos, add comments and just about everything else you want to do to waste your time. Shozu is kinda like the swiss army knife of social network apps. But unfortunately unlike a swiss army knife you can't stab someone repeatedly in the eyes with it.

Truveo app.
Truveo is like google for videos. Never be bored in the bathroom again. Find yourself something else to watch during that boring meeting at work. With Truveo you'll have the ability to search through videos from NBC, CNN, The Disney Channel, HBO, Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, PBS, MTV, The Wall Street Journal, Youtube, Dailymotion and more. AOL Radio app.
Definitely the app of choice for all you radio addicts. Now you'll always have the ability to tune out your girlfriend or mother depending how cool you are. Features over 200 stations more than 25 genres of music and 150+ radio stations from across the U.S. Hundreds of free music stations and a variety of popular terrestrial news, sports, talk stations.

After snooping around the interwebs I've compiled a short list of the best free video players. These free video players have many of the same functions so I'll not waste your time with long descriptions. Just click the links and check em out yourself.

VLC is considered to be the very best by many people. VLC will usually play anything you throw at it.

Winamp has long been popular among many users.

The KMPlayer gets a lot of recommendations.

Media Player Classic might be the choice for you.

I'll list the best free antivirus programs in no particular order.


Avast antivirus Home Edition is FREE to use but it is necessary to register before the end of the initial 60 day trial period. It's free to register the home edition.

AntiVir Free Antivirus has been around for a long time and has a great reputation.

AVG Free Antivirus is another popular choice among internet people.

ClamWin comes recommended by many reliable sources however I've never tried it myself.

Best Free DVD Conversion and Burning Software

So I did my usual research on the interwebs and found there are very few good options when it comes to free movie conversion and burning software. I downloaded a lot of crap programs, now I'll show you the best. These free movie burning programs have no watermarks or trial periods. No gimmicks, just great reliable freeware.

Sothink happens to be my personal favorite. Sothink is dead simple to use and has never failed me. If you can't figure out how to use Sothink you should step immediately away from your computer and in front of a bus. As far as I'm concerned there is nothing better than Sothink, but who knows maybe you'll have some problem with it. So here are some alternative free programs that are reliable and most importantly totally free.

DVD Flick supports over 45 file formats and you can easily create a custom menu on burned DVDs. An easy to use interface and support of many file formats really makes DVD Flick stand out among the crowd. If I didn't use Sothink, DVD flick would be my program of choice.

Free DVD Creator is super easy to use and has many of the functions and features of Sothink or DVD Flick making it a great alternative.

For Mac users there's a nifty free program called Burn you should check it out.
